Passover Seder & Candlelight Communion
In our Communion services we often read from these texts:
1Cor. 11:25 In the same way he took the cup also, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
or in John we are told that “during supper” He got up from the table…
John 13:2 …And during supper
John 13:4 …got up from the table, took off his outer robe, and tied a towel around himself.
We know that Jesus and the disciples were celebrating Passover the night before He was betrayed.
