Rom. 1:16 ¶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Rom. 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “The one who is righteous will live by faith.”
John 3:16 ¶ “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
Arguably the most beloved verse in all the Bible. Is there a reason it is? Is it still Jesus telling Nicodemus or is it John telling us? The narrative moves further away from Nicodemus personally, & on purpose, so you & I & the contemporary church can understand that He & John are both speaking not just to Nicodemus, but to us.
